President Bush Lauds AeroSat's Entrepreneurship
New Hampshire Aviation Technology Company Participates in White House Economic Forum

Merrimack, NH, January 29, 2004 – On Thursday, AeroSat Corporation's top executive, Michael Barrett joined President Bush and local workers and small business owners for a discussion on the local economy. The forum, titled "A Conversation on the Economy – Jobs for the 21st Century," focused on the benefits on the President's tax cut plan that helped companies in New Hampshire like AeroSat grow.

"The tax relief we passed was essential to getting the economy going, and it is working," Bush said. "Now, Congress needs to make the relief permanent."

Michael Barrett told his story of creating AeroSat and how he spent five years and all of his savings developing an antenna in his basement that would allow aircraft to communicate with satellites. Last February, AeroSat shipped its first crate to Switzerland for an antenna to be mounted on a 747. Since then, the company has shipped more than $3 million in antennas.

Barrett said the Bush tax cut saved his business $190,000 last year.

"I thank you for leading and helping to turn the corner in New Hampshire with your tax reform," Barrett said to President Bush.
